Onboard ERP helped Santen transition to SAP S/4HANA as part of the company’s Genesis project. This initiative aims to replace SAP ECC, which will no longer be supported by SAP beyond 2027, while introducing streamlined global processes across the Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality workstreams.

Onboard ERP developed a tailored training program for Santen’s pharmaceutical employees, ensuring high satisfaction rates and effective material delivery.

In the pharmaceutical industry, training is a critical component to comply with GxP good practice quality guidelines and regulations. Santen sought a flexible yet customized training approach tailored to its specific needs.

Onboard ERP delivered high-quality, customized training materials and worked closely with key users to address their unique training requirements. This approach went beyond simply demonstrating the new system; it also explained the processes behind the tools and the rationale for the changes.

Project management was another significant aspect of the implementation, and the Onboard ERP team supported Santen in achieving its key objectives within the specified timeframe.

The outcome was a resounding success, with 92 percent of end-users expressing satisfaction with the ERP training materials. This achievement was a key factor in Santen’s decision to continue working with Onboard ERP.
